| If I snorkel my Rhino do I need to rejet? does it make the cabin any quieter? I know the main reason is so you can get through deeper water but im just curious. | |

| You dont have to re jet, but drilling the slider vacum hole helps because a snorkel screws up the vacum pulse. And no it wont make it quieter, You can only snorkel a C/V carb so far until it dosent run worth a shit! | |

| For the least pressure drop, having smooth gradual turns and a smooth inside surface is just as important as large diameter and a short run. Water pipe elbows are a no no. Sewer pipe elbows are better. Sweeping turn air duct and vacuum system elbows are better yet. No turns is best of all (but not very practical, eh?). Straight stacks up through the cab? | |

| For sound purposes I just disconnected the stock snorkel filled the hole and tapped it off. I didn't want to hassle with the snorkel to the front by messing up air/fuel ratio or rejecting thing. I put a screen over the air box opening just to stop big stuff from getting in. I put that shinny reflective matting in the motor box. I put carpet padding on the bed front and under the seats. All said it's MUCH quieter at idle but once you get going I'm not sure it's any quieter. Seems nothing can stop the roar!!!! | |

| my 07 660 is full snorkle the intake and clutch i used 2" pvc. it has been snorkled for 4 years and has been problem free and i have not rejetted. i will get pics for ya`s later. also depending on where you end your snorkle tubes it will make it alot louder in the cab. all 3 of my tube run up between driver and the passanger. at firts i had them up pretty high. sitting in the rhino they ended just above my head it was soo loud i hated it. i then cut em down to where they are now and it is much better but not stock quiet. | |

yes thats the intake for the motor. instead of jetting i just cut down on the air going in. | |

| The snorkeling has nothing to do with the intake. U should not have to rejet. I had to tape mine but after talking to stuntman, the snorkeled messes with the vacuum on the Cv carb and the the tape kinda tricks the vacuum . You can take the snorkel. Off and see no change with a/f gauge. So that being said if u take the slide out of the Carb there's a little hole on bottom if you drill it out one size bigger which is 1/8 bit it does not take as much vacuum to life the slide which will help. If it don't fix the problem then u will have to go to a 3" . All of the info I just provided came from stuntman .and I Tookthe advice and it worked for me. No more busting out on mid end. Therefore no tape over half the snorkel | |

| i dont know why people are having problems with snorkles. do you have 700s? things that i snorkled or extended for my 660 air box intake clutch intake clutch exhaust front diff rear diff coolant bottle electric fan crank case carb vent lines also remove the fan off the bottom passanger side of the motor. it will bog the motor down in deep water. | |

| Everyone's problem is running right. It don't affect the jetting it effects the slide.I'm. Guessing the reason u have tape is with out it it runs like shit in the mid. Runs strong on top Ans bottom but the mid is pop pop pop then go. That's caused by the vacuum. Not enough t pull the slide up so the mid us not getting gas and wahy to much air. My 660 ran 13.1 on bottom jumped to 18.9 on mid the 12.8 on top that's the reading on the a;f gauge I have | |
