| So I bought the factory heater when I bought the Rhino. I figured if I am going to drain the coolant to install a Temp gauge I might as well just do the damn heater too. My concern with the heater is that they say to mount it under the passenger seat. Has anyone done this? I am very worried that it is going to get soaked at some point. Just wanted opinions. | |

| All of the heaters I've seen are mounted under the hood on the drivers side in an enclosure that fits the bottom of the hood when it's closed. Other than that, I don't know anything about heaters. I freeze my ass off. Sorry for the worthless post, I'm sure you will get some good ideas soon. | |

Under the passenger seat??? What do you do with the fuel tank? I have my heater mounted under the hood between the upper frame rails.

I have my heater mounted under the hood between the upper frame rails. I live in west tx, so no need for a heater. How big r these heaters? Cause there is room for nothing under my pass seat with the fuel tank there and all.

| My bad yes it mounts under the drivers seat. My question still stands what happens if you get in deep water? Haha I may try to modify it to mount under the hood somewhere. | |
