Hi everyone,
I bought an 06 660 earlier this year, traded in my wife's new dirtbike and my 01 Raptor 660. I love it so far (except for the primary sheave blowing up.) I LOVE having beer holders and a stereo system on the trails. Oh, and super comfy seats.
I hate phones, or maybe I'm just scared to call anyone, but I'm here trolling around looking at what a good starting JBS setup would be. Seems to be the way everyone on the internet is going.
I think my rig is heavy, it's a 4 seat conversion, running 27" ITP Mud Lites. It was pretty gutless as far as bottom end goes. Now it's real bad, so I opened up the now destroyed primary.
My riding style varies. I do some rough/steep/rocky/tricky trails, lots of gravel roads to get to said trails, and love deep mud and water. It doesn't need to be a speed demon, but being able to do 40 mph for a while would be awesome. What I really want is lots of grunt to spin the tires in gravel... I LOVE that shit. Ya know, hit it, peel the tires, spray a bunch of gravel, get a little sideways, drift around some gravel road corners... that sort of thing.
It's jetted, has a K&N and has some programmable CDI in it, but is stock pretty much otherwise. I just need jam. I don't know anything about sheaves, this is my first machine with something like this.
Anyways, hello, and any ideas as far as what to get would be appreciated!

Hello Tunderslimer and welcome to the forum.
The JBS sheave kit is exactly what You are looking for. It will give You a bunch more low end grunt to spin those tires and You will be able to run 40 to 50 mph all day !
For a complete kit it will run You around $320. Best mod You can do on a Rhino.
Here is a vid of my 660 with JBS Sheave kit to give You an idea of what it will do. My motor is stock.

YES. I need jam. I will call James tomorrow, I need to get my rig back together! 54 mph is nuts, mine topped out at about 70 km/h before... this would be quite an improvement on the top end, but really all I want is gravel spitting lows. (The top is nice too haha)

We ride mostly West Harrison, sometimes Stave Lake for quick day trips. Fraser Valley mostly. My parents live in Vernon, might try and see if we can find some trails up there.
I bought the Rhino from International Motorsports... no idea where it might have come from haha
