My Three Hounds

Here are my three hounds.  They are all rescued Rottweilers, and they are our kids.





Freidegard (Friede or Free) or I just call her Mushy the Pancake Bear.  She was found running the streets of NYC and was going to be put down.  We've had her 3+ years and she is amazing.  She was very timid at first now she follows me every where and thinks she is a Chihuahua when she jumps in my lap.  She is anything but @ 128lbs.




The 105 lb Great Gun-hunter as my nephew calls him and yes he is in the tub.  This is the handsome boy named Guenther.  He was rescued from dire circumstances 7+ years ago when we lived in Phoenix, AZ.
When he was younger and not so grey with me on a rafting/hiking trip to Colorado.


We had our Angel (Rosamunde) die last year at 10 1/2.  We had her since she was a puppy, but it gave us the opportunity to rescue another.



Her name is Wilhelmine (Wilma).  She was rescued from a home in Atlanta, GA.  We picked her up in New Jersey last October.  She is only 1 1/2 and learning from her brother and sister.  She is a great little puppy at 98lbs and full of energy and joy.  She wakes me up if I miss a workout in the morning by pulling the covers off the bed.  All three have there own personality and make me forget life stresses when there running through the woods everyday during there walks.

Sounds like you have a couple good buddy's there.

awesome rotties brings back great memories of my rotty shaka what a friendly and gental dog she was , our pets are our kids too , and we spare no expenses on them

Rottweilers are an amazing breed.  They're protective this is true, but you're absolutley right.  They're so friendly, sweet and gentle once you get to know them.  I also love how they "talk" to you in grunts, grumbles, and growls.  Big Babies for the most part.

Great that you take them in to a good home, we've had rotts for many years had 9 over the years
 don't have any now but your pics bought back some great memories
