| What are people using for a subwoofer? I have the UTV concepts overhead stereo, but want to get some bass, i ride mud and water so it would have to be up in the roof somehow, any ideas? | |

| not to many people on here look at that as an option.... I have been doing a lot of research on this and after talking to a few manufactures it seems like a quality sub will work underwater as long as the box and speaker are sealed 110%..... I know my clarions worked after being dunked many times....
One of the commanders that ride with us have a polk audio 10" sub mounted on the kick panel low and its been under the water many times... sounds amazing.... you can also mount it on the roof as well and it sounds great there... Very limited space there tho...
I seen a few guys riding with tubies along a tower bar in the bed... 2 8" two ways with one 8" woofer mounted between.... Looked damn good and sounded great.... Just another idea if you like...
hope that helps | |

| Oh, SSV has a rhino sale to. They make a box for a 10" to mount over the center console. Over 50% off I believe. | |

| UnderDawg has made hangers from schedule 40 end caps(6inch)with 6.5inch Bazookas. He has glued 2 inch pipe to that then paced a 2 in x .25 inch to the head reast mount. | |

| hes looking for bass.... he will need a subwoofer.... not two way speakers... you got a few options.... I built the tube speakers and it wont sound like you want it to sound... its good enough to listen to and will be loud but it wont have that thump you want... either a box build under the dash somewhere, SSV sub enclosure or cannon on a tower bar wraped around the back of the cage, or sub on the roof..... your choice.... I can tell you I built every option so I know what works and what don't... tried kicker, bazooka, clarion and infinity... none of them will have bass without a subwoofer.... period... this was my last project for my buddies wifes rzr..... | |

| You can try upgrading your speakers. Do a component set so your will have a true mid and true high. Or go with the sub. | |

| Right now, i think they are 250 watt but only 2 way i think, a 3 way would give a bit of bass then? Like i said i dont need it to thump, just nice to have some bass. | |

| Let the deck power your speakers, get a nice sub and put an amp to it. Set the crossover in the amp to give your sub some bump! | |
