| I painted my 07 grizzly flat black, I wiped all the plastics down with denatured alcohol, then I got 2000 grit wet sandpaper and scuffed up the plastics, then moved to 2700 grit. Then prepped the plastic with denatured alcohol again, hung them up and sprayed them out of a cup sprayer, 35 psi on the reg, light coat of plastic paint I got from the automotive section at pep boys. Did 5 light coats, did a light sanding on the 4th coat with the 2700 to knock down any imperfections then sprayed the 5th coat. Did 2 coats of clear top coat very light to seal it but not lose the flat look. About 15 hours over 3 days. | |

| I painted mine and used Krlyon fusion. I scuffed it with a scotchbright pad then cleaned it with prepall and then painted it. It has held up good. | |

| How does the krylon hold up to the branches hitting and dragging down the side of it. | |

| I also used Krylon Fusion spray paint and it came out great. You do need to clean really well and scuff up the plastic first. Also need to light sand/clean in between coats. The amount of prep work you put in is going to determine how well it holds up. Mine came out great and is holding up to branches flawlessly. | |

I actually think I only did between the first two coats. It was very rough so I did a light sand. The last couple coats I didn't need to. I did four coats. | |

| Did the krylon fusion blend evenly? Or does it look patchy? | |

| Once again it depends on the work you put in. My paint came out awesome but I've seen some shitty ones. The first few coats are going to look like shit but if you want a nice even coat just keep painting until you're happy with the results. | |
