| I recently drowned my older Ipod last year. Went to game stop for my daughter and seen they were selling used Apple equimpmet.. Found a 16gig, Ipod gen 4 for $65...
I rather the iTunes format cause you know you will be getting quality songs instead of the crap you get online and you can load all your music you have saved into ITunes..
I spend about 20 a month on music and im extremely satisfied...

| Nice guy Denny. Way to pass along something not being used so someone else can enjoy it. I use my iPhone with my spotify premium account. Best music app you can get for 10 bucks a month, any song, any artist any album with the click of a button. | |

| i swear by it, you punch in an artist and it will pull up all there songs and full albums, you can also just punch in a song and it will pull up that song. its on demand for music. i will never turn back and the clarity is HD. you can do a 48 hour trial period to try it for free. it also has a radio option to just play random music and artists in a specific genre and you can create your own custom playlists with all your favoite songs. one of my playlists has over 3000 songs on it. best 10 bucks a month you will ever spend if you love music like i do. can be played wirelesly thru any wireless speaker system you have in your home as well. | |

| I have the Ipod nano. It's super easy to find your music on, and buy new music on Itunes. Wife has A sony that was $60 vs my $150 at the time. She gets all her music from cds or buys it from amazon download. My Ipod has survived almost 4000 miles in a side by side with lots of dust, and a little moisture. Also stays hooked up to my car stereo through the week non stop. | |

But the nice thing that sets spotify apart from pandora and the rest is the ability to choose any artist and any song or any album whenever you want and also create custom playlists instead of having to wait for a specific song you want to hear like on pandora and the rest.

| Now once you set up your spotify account all you have to do is open it on any device and your music will already be there tho so no need to transfer unless you were just looking to transfer to a MP3 player alone. | |

| as an avid Apple customer since 1989, i was initially disappointed with iTunes because i lost a lot of songs when i had a crash from a lightning strike (the cable companies don't isolate their cables like the phone company used to, so there was no inline surge protector). now that they backup all your purchases (thanks to Kindle!) it is a real pleasure to use, and i can share all the info on 4 other devices. i load old cds on whenever i want to listen to them, and have downloaded songs that i used to have on albums. you youngins out there might also know them as records. ha ha as far as the quality of the music, most of them are re-mastered and sound a hell of a lot better than they ever did when playing them on the radio when i was a teeny bopper.... the majority of the songs are only 99¢ and you can download podcasts, movies, tv shows, books, etc. occasionally i'll even play a movie on the tv from my iPad. it only takes a cable. | |

| I use my phone and slacker radio premium. 10 bucks a month, cache to my phone so I don't have to stream, and pick any song to listen to I want at any time. | |

| Go all the way back to the main menu on the Ipod. Select settings, then select EQ. Put it on Hip Hop, or Rock and it will sound so much better hooked up in your rhino that it ain't even funny. Lots more bass and cleaner highs at those two EQ settings. I was messing with mine last night after I got the cage put back on and had the neighbor's porch lights comming on. | |
