| I'm thinking of changing my stock intake, should I just buy a k&n replacement filter, or should I replace the entire air box? If so, which one do y'all have? Thx. | |

| if you ride in a dusty environment, i have heard that the k&n filter doesn't work as well as a foam filter. i think the Hot Rod uses a uni filter | |

| I have been reading up on replacing the air cleaner assembly on a 700,and it seems like there is not much if any gains I think its all in the filter you use a prefilter over the filter and exhaust. I don't ride in the desert or dunes. | |

| Uni was only $30. K&N was $75. I probably will swap back and forth. | |
