| I have googled this and of course I've read a bunch about it but I figured I would ask you fellas..
How the hell do you grease the U-joint on this thing... I obviously can't get a gun on it.. and if you guys tell me get a needle could you please show me the exact one you are using....
Are you just undoing the diff bolts and pulling the diff forward... does the shaft come right out? | |

| I've always just used a regular grease-gun. Go buy a new end for ur gun...the "skinniest" one you can find. If that doesn't work for you , in the same area of the parts store , they sell an end that will clip on the end of ur gun....kinda looks like a small hollow pencil...sorta. With it , you push against the little ball in the zerk fitting , forcing the grease in that way. They do sell an actual needle attachment ; but , that will not help you w/what you're trying to do. | |

| Ok so I bought t his and it worked http://www.tractorsupply.com/en/store/workforcereg%3B-3-in-straight-needlepoint-coupler-quick-connect I used a pneumatic gun. The front was pretty easy... The engine side one I had to take off the center console shit so I could move around but I got it... Only thing is I couldn't seem to get grease to come out of some of the cups. Better than nothing I guess. I also pulled back the boot on the rear shaft engine side the boot was pretty wrecked and it was pretty rusty in there I used a hypodermic style needle for that I slid it in the gaps in the splines and pumped a shit ton of grease in there. It held way more than I would have expected. Anyone got any ideas how to get the grease to spread through the u-joints better...?? | |

| You can get to that rear one from underneath...it'll actually go on the zerk better from that way. | |

| It was easier for me to just pull those 4 screws and lay on the floor boards than snake under it in my garage... I also wanted to say I've been using that hypodemic needle grease gun attachment to grease my ball joints and tie rods.... it's made my front end so much smoother and quiet.. I read some people say not to puncture the boots but from what I've seen with that sharp little needle you can plump those boots right up with grease and you actually have to squeeze them kinda hard to get the grease to come out the hole you made. | |

| I did the same thing to stop a balljoint squeak, through the boot a tiny hole. | |
