trailer hauling

what is the max overhang on the side of a trailer in NC? Cant find it anywhere on yahoo. Ive got a 14x7 trailer can I put 2 rhinos on there pull them on the 7 foot what and hang over about 2 foot on either side??? thanks

I think the max width on a trailer in any state is 102"

I think the 102" is federal highways only...at least that's what I've always heard around here. I hauled mine cross-ways on a 7 wide...once...the center of the tire is on the edge of the trailer , on both sides. If its tied down good , it "can't" go anywhere ...I don't recommend it tho.
