thanks hump,do they still make armor all? I use SC1, works great and last a long time. it would be great for all the mud you guys get into out there. we cover the sprint car in it and the dirt wont stick I've seen and heard of that SC1 but never tried it. May have to check it out. Armor all doesn't seem to be as good as it was when I was a kid. Seems watered down now.

I would be hesitant on your end, to offer a "do it yourself" kit...too much liability ! Welding cast is a pita...and...on a steering part , ya damned sure want it to be done correctly.

SC1 works great, but you have to make sure the surface is clean or it will encase the dirt, too. also, if it's still wet when you ride, the dust will stick to it. i've gone through half a case this year and at $7 + a can, it gets expensive

| I been hearing lately to try eagle one chrome wheel cleaner( the one in the grey bottle). Has no acids in it and it won't mess up the bolts and other things on the motor and stuff. Tire foam works great under the machine and sc1 is great on plastic and not vinyl. If your plastics are vinyl wrapped, just wax them.
Also, sc1 works good in your cage too!!!!
