| My brother, a buddy of mine and myself are looking at taking our boys to an off road park for a 3ish day camping/off roading vacation. We were thinking of The Badlands because its between all of us. Then i was looking at Haspin...i dont know anything about it but it seems to be about the same size as Badlands. Then there is Redbird which is larger acreage but is a rec park as well but i dont really know anything about that one either. Im new to off road parks as i have always just ridden on our land...but we are wanting to make a trip out of it.
Also if there is a place that is MUCH better and not to much more of a drive we would be up for that too. I am in central indiana and my buddy is in northern indiana just for reference. Also wanted to add im not really looking for alot of mud...not against it but its not my main focus...more trails and technical stuff | |

| At Haspin you can set up camp for free on the trails or parking lot & stay there the whole trip. Has a restaurant & showers but it will be muddy there this time of year. Badlands has alot of sand/open areas & a little woods/mud. They have an area to camp too but I don't think it's free. I've never been to redbird...heard it was closed??? Bigrock is in Maysville KY. Also The Dirty Turtle is in Carrolton KY. The closest real trails worth spending any length of time around here is in Ky at Black Mountain, Harlan county Ky. Google some of them. About 4 hrs south of the Ohio River is Windrock Mountain. Well worth the trip. Windrockatv.com Brimstone is another good one in Tenn. Not alot in Indiana. | |

| Oh yea, 72,000 acres. There are all kinds of trails. Blacktop, gravel roads, and rocky trails too. | |

| went to haspin on saturday afternoon. surprisingly not crowded at all, considering this is the best weather we've had for awhile. did some climbing on the hills and had a blast keeping up with a buddy that just bought a new rzr 900 xp. lots of rocks jumping out at us from those hills! these old bones are still sore today! | |
