| Guys,
What are the signs for servicing the Sheeve?
I put James’ Sheeve, heavy duty spring, and new belt on about 2000 miles ago. I ride in AZ so there is allot of dust.
Lately when I get near upper 40s MPH (45 – 50) the engine struggles to get to 50. I have Dyantek FI so i am not hitting the rev limiter.
PS. I did valve adjustment last weekend. Can this be caused by bad valve adjustment?
Rhino starts and run perfect otherwise. It just does not have the same gitty up it used to have. I want to get some ideas before I start tearing in to things.
Another question, lately I can smell oil in the cab. I have no oil leaks. I saw James’ crank case breather mod video, I am going to do the mod. Is oil smell related to oil getting in to the air box?
thanks | |

| Take a look once you are in there. Check the belt and sheave surfaces. You may not need any new parts, but check it out and make sure everything is still good. | |

| Take a peek at Jame's youtube vids on servicing the clutches. They are worth watching and then you'll know to do it right! Good luck | |

| I did oreder a new belt and all of the O rigns and gaskets. I think the smell of oil coming in to the cab I mentioned above is coming from the Sheave possibly. maybe blown seals. I will start the tear down next weekend. | |

| If the seal is leaking behind the primary, might be a good time to inspect the wet clutch and if its good install some weigthts/slugs. Good luck . | |

| Brake cleaner is good, then after you have cleaned and lubed the primary with the o ring and cover, brake clean and scotch pad the sheave surface. | |
