| A few months ago I bought four new ITP rims ( don't ask why). anyways I am running 26" Interco Reptiles on ITP beadlocks currently on the Rhinojet. I figured I would try a different brand on the new rims. Today I went to order ITP Terracross tires for the new rims in 27" and low and behold...................they don't come in 27". The new rims are 12" like the beadlocks so if I'm gonna run 26" tires I'll just use the Reptiles on these new rims but I would like to try a 27" tire.....................who has 27"'s and what are they? Thanks. | |

| Mine had 27's on it when I bought it. It only took one trip on the hill , and them babies came off !!! IMO , for the way you and I ride, the extra rubber , is not worth the loss in/of power. I'm sure I'll get a lot of flack for saying that ; but , I know you like to go fast (so do I ) , that big rubber is gonna slow ya down , in speed as well as power. Now , after saying all of that...I have two sets of se wheels...thinkn pretty hard , on doing 26-9's on all front wheels next go around.

| not 27s but 28s here. there is a noticeable loss in power and greater strain on all the parts. but for my style of riding bigger is better. I ride very rocky terrain and im also in a lot of mud. the taller tires are nice for extra ground clearance and great looks that's about it. perfect example is on the hhr ride tony was stuck in a hole high centered needed a winch out. I then drove in , out and across the same hole with no problems. (sorry tony).... | |

| My bike came with ITP 27 inch mud lights, with the jbs sheave its got more getup than the stock tires without sheeve but not by alot. I can spin the tires loose alot more torque though and top speed around 50 which should be about 53 speed corrected. If I where to do it over again I'd go 26,s for sure for look and performance less wear. I have to admit though the 27s have a way cushy ride over everything its like adding a suspension! | |

| Well, James is still under the weather. Looks like he got a infection from the dental work. I'll wait and see what he says. He has done the sheave, throttle body, cam, springs etc to the rhinojet. It's down there now for ported polished head, piston and alba exhaust. I don't think power will be an issue turning 27's. | |

| Dave, I've ran 27X14 on my 450 for about a year a 1 1/2. I can still hit 43 mph on the flats and make it over some pretty good sized down timber on the back trails. I think anything over sized on a 450 hurts it's power but she'll spin pretty good in the mud. With what you're doing to the Jet you shouldn't have much problem spinning 27's. Just my thought. Happy Trails......w/Jack. | |

| I have put about 250 miles on my 27's and I did lose a little bit of power but with my mods it still handles them fine. I still haven't got my front end or steering stuff all fixed from my wreck but I have still hit 61 a few times with them. Now I finally get to use low sometimes. | |

| I have been running 27" tires for 5 years. I noticed a loss of low end in the beginning. Gained a little back with the shim and then a whole lot with the JBS sheave!! | |
