| there is less overlap on the stage 1 cam; it has a longer intake duration and shorter exhaust duration which results in more bottom end torque from the hotcams catalog: | |

| Before you spend $180+ on a Stage1 or Stage2 Cam you might purchase yourself a factory raptor cam for $20 and try it "thekevin" runs one on his after taking out his Stage3 cam and loves the bottom end, midrange, and topend since the curve is a more smooth curve and less of a radical spike in between might be what your looking for. I run a Stage2 Hot cam and I like it alot more topend HP but there is some tuning for sure involved with fuel controller to get it to run as it should and out of the stock raptor, stage2, or stage3 cams the stock raptor was the only one that didnt have a lull on take off even though the stage2 and stage3 lull can be tuned to get alot of it out but not all of it. Just my 2 cents for ya! | |
