| Reminds me of the bedroom in turned into a giant closet/girls room for the wife. Pink & White, you don't want to have to many beers under the belt when you enter. But keep them happy and you'll be happy and satisfied. Lookin good Dusty. | |

| ok the engine builder should have the cases split today and he is letting me order all my own parts so there is no mark up on his end. ordered so far is. $200 used head with webcam since mine was junk. $273 HotRods +4 Stroker Crank & Rod was only $2 more than a factory spec HotRod Crank & Rod so of coarse it needs one of those lol $123 Billet middle drive gear support just because everyone says I need it The head will be going to the machine shop to get Ported, Polished and get bigger valves. He has a 102mm 11:1 piston he is giving me. after this is all done I won't even have enough for the JBS magical Sheave But after Christmas sometime there will be one installed. and so this is where she sits now. | |

| I'm not doing the engine build, I don't fell confident enough to split the case. I'm buying the parts and he is doing the build, I bought another head and will be running it to him after work today around 4:30 at his shop Still waiting for the middle drive support and Stroker Crank & rod to show up. If it was just the top end I would be doing it myself, I've rebuilt Cat and Cummins motors before but these little engines scare me with all the goodies inside lol | |

| Me too ! I built my first engine at 15 ( ford flat head) and many many motors sense, but none of the small bike stuff..just looks like a watch to me, one wrong spring and a 1000 pieces,lol...I bought a clymers manual, but still would like a "hands on" visual..I,m just looking at the top end right now..Cam ,head 686 kit..well good luck with your build..I can do the sheaves blind folded,lol..wish my wife didn,t have plans for us tonight ( also still helping a couple friends with elk tags) would had enjoyed meeting you in person & BS..Danny | |

| Sounds good, this build is killing me lol just found out the motor mounts and rear driveline are junk. This is going to nickle and dime me to death. Thank God the head I ordered was already ported and had a good webcam and Kibblewhite springs and keepers. Still need to order my piston and +1 valves. Now for the machine work!! Good thing I'm selling my cage extension and seat or I would be screwed, it's costing a lot more than I initially expected. So I'm guessing with a 102mm piston and a +4 Stroker crank it will be a 720 not a 727 but non the less it should be Bad Ass. | |

| yea the 105mm piston would make it a 727. but like u said still should be bad ass its the same build im doing to mine except mine is already a 686 so just adding the stroker crank an middle drive plate a doing +2 valves also my head is already ported when I did the 686 an ebay has a great deal on 102mm je pistons with gaskets for 200 best deal I could find by far | |

| The HotRod Stroker crank showed up yesterday and all I am waiting for now is the piston to show up, then the bore begins. received the ported and polished head and cam earlier in the week, can't afford the +2 Kibblewhite valves yet but it does have Kibblewhite springs and keepers. and Mamma did say to me "I don't need anything fast, you better put that motor in yours and I will be just fine with your motor" So of coarse I have to do what Mamma tells me. hopefully I will be getting some pics up soon. still need to install the LED's in the factory holes and finish the bed and hopefully be finished by next weekend. | |

| FINALLY all of my parts have shown up, Piston showed up today so now the machinist can work his magic. I think it might actually be finished before Thanksgiving decided to give our painter that does our Dump Trucks a call to see when he is sandblasting next, told him I have an ugly ass bed from Mammas Rhino that needs to be blasted he then asks if I want it primered and I said nah I'm just going to rattle can it anyways and he said are you kidding me? bring it down tomorrow with the can of pink paint and I will get it matched up with some good paint and take care of it don't worry about what it's going to cost. Holy Shit that's the best news I've had yet.... I wasn't looking forward to sanding that peice of shit bed and to get it done for free is a sure bonus. wish I would have called him when I was doing the hood lol So here's how it's going to be. My stock engine is going in the Pink one and the 720 Stroker with a JBS sheave, Ported and polished head, Kibblewhite springs and keepers, slugged wet clutch, Webcam, Billet middle drive support, Dynatek CDI and Weller Racing Head studs will be going in the Short Bus. I love it when a plan comes together. | |

| Well it looks like this budget build is turning out to be a bunch more than I figured it would lol Looked at the driveline and indeed it was junk, ordered last night. The machinist said the valves in my used head were junk, it already had Kibblewhite double springs and keepers that are still good, Ordered +1 Kibblewhites last night. Thank God rhinosport84 Kyle keeps buying all of my stuff lol looks like I should change the name of this thread to Mamma's and the Short Bus Build! | |
