| Ok so I decided to start this thread to share and help me keep record of this build and will transfer to the new forum when it starts. 06' 660 that has been completely abused and I will be bringing it back from the dead a little at a time. The wife decided she wants it Pink and Black and of coarse what Mamma wants Mamma gets for the first little while it will be all cosmetic stuff until I can afford to do the motor in spring time. This will be a slow build do to the fact that I don't have a garage and it we get a lot of snow in the winter and it gets cold as Hell. We are going with Watermelon Krylon Fusion plastic paint with Black trim. She said she likes the big ass bed so I guess it's staying on, again what Mamma wants Mamma gets! so here we go, I will do a photobucket link so there's not a shit load of pics to scroll thru. Bear with me as this build is going to take me a while. | I suggest getting a new piston. The one that came with it won't hold up for what you want to do with it. | |

| Only able to do a little sanding on the ugly green hood that has about 6 layers of paint on it, had to winterize the camp trailer. Hopefully I get to start painting the hood tomorrow. I showed the previous owner the dash and he said "what the hell you already bought new plastic for it?" After the hood is done the cage and bed are coming off, she gets my seats and my 14" ITP Wheels and ITP Terracross tires which means this guy gets new seats and new tires in Spring. Still trying to figure out how I'm going to make it look half decent with this big ass ugly bed but it will look good when it done hopefully lol gonna have to mount my LED's in the headlights like Hump did, those look great. Not sure if I'm going to rebuild the motor yet or just buy one, we'll have to see how the cash flow is going when that time comes. There is a pretty good engine builder here about 5 miles from me so I might just take it to him this winter and get it done. | |

| Ok this friggin hood is kicking my ass!!! I swear to God this this has to have 15 layers of paint on it, I even used aircraft paint remover for flexible plastic and it strips a lot of it but holy shit as much time as I have spent trying to get this crap off I could have bought a used hood lol Well I guess it means more to Mamma if I'm out there working my ass off. | |

| Maybe if you get it smooth, you could use pink plasti-dip the hood and front end. PLD-RC-BLZ-PINK BLAZE PINK, $9.00 a can -30,*200*f, might help. | |

| There is no getting this paint smooth lol I just need to spray it again with the aircraft paint remover and scrape it when it starts to bubble instead of spraying it on and going in to eat dinner, it ended up drying and got hard again. If I don't get it all prepped and ready for paint tomorrow I'm just going to buy another hood. I did find some cool old school Yamaha stripes in all black so it will match my short bus. Decided to keep it clean and simple instead of a graphics kit and go with some black fender flares and she wants to put a black hood scoop on it also. Should look pretty cool. | |
