| I just put a full windshield on today and ordered a rear. I am thinking I may go to the autoparts store and pick up a car heater core and just mount it under my dash and put it inline with my radiator and just let it radiate heat out, no fans on it. I think it will help. | |

| That should work, maybe box around it would help it work even better. | |

| My rear window and a half windshield give enough heat for -20 just from the engine cover. | |

Here is a link showing how I mounted a Summit Racing heater. It really works and doesnt cost alot! https://hotrodrhinoforums.forumotion.com/t955-under-my-hood

the ones from summit work great, mines mounted under the drivers seat , just makes servicing your clutch a little harder , no problem really, like the location of onebuilders, but that's where my aux battery is

I think if you have a heater it will help hold the heat in and the cold out. No heater and I think it may be a little cooler inside with the cover because it keeps some of the heat from the engine off of you.

| Just go on ebay and look up heater cores. Â then either build a box or just buy an old 30 or 50 cal ammo can and drop the heater core into it. Â Throw a couple (or 3 depending on your box) computer fans on the cold air side and boom...all done. Â I have all my parts together to do this but im out of town right now so i cant play with the rhino. Â May want to put a couple shut off valves on it for summer so it doesnt put a little heat off then also. Â with all my stuff bought i got like $40 bucks in it | |

I suggest using the Summit kit. but you have a creative idea, post some pics when you get it built. I love seeing what guys come up with! If I Â may offer one suggestion though, dont add valves. The extra coolant capacity and flow was nice to have. the stock system only holds a half a gallon. My new system hold one gallon now. in addition to the added capacity, when making long climbs and you see the temps climbing, reach over and switch the heater on and watch the temps drop 15-20 degrees.

then in the summer shut it all the way down unless you need the extra cooling for a long hill climb and then open it up and flip on fans to get an extra small radiator.  It will make you hot but it will keep the motor from burning up.

| We had low single digits this morning here, tonight and tomorrow night are predicted to get below 0 already. unfortunately not much for winter riding here, it's illegal to ride atv's/utv's on snowmobile trails in winter, so that just leaves the lakes basically. | |

| It's only in the high 20's here but last night we had wind gusts up to 95 MPH, the last big wind storm we had blew my Damn roof off my house lol But on the good side, I did have a nice car cover blow into my yard last year and it fits right on the Rhino!! | |

| 1 degree here this morning with 4" of snow cover. Tried to work in the garage on the Rhino last night, radiant heater sent me back to the house, to cold to mess with iron and plastic. | |
