One way bearing direction

I did not pay attention to the way in came out there is writting on one side and not the other the writting says out side but im unsure what side they mean to be out side

the side that says outside should be facing the clutch meaning when u put the oneway in the housing u shouldn't see the words it will be facing the shaft off the wet clutch drum

That is correct. The writing will be facing the the driver's side of the rhino, away from the motor.

Ok cool thanks guys, I started it up and heard something in there rattling so im probably to late, if you dont care about engine braking is this something u have to have in there

I ran mine with a bad one way bearing for a year or so before I even knew there was anything wrong with it. I got my Rhino used, so I didn't realize it was bad until I was in another Rhino. I changed mine so I had engine braking but I don't think it was actually hurting anything. Sometimes it made a growling noise on deceleration but it would probably have went away as the bearing wore out more.

only bad thing is that if it grenades you have to go fishing for pieces
