Subject: What controller for a 2013 Rhino 700 Sun Mar 17, 2013 7:08 pm
I just bought a 2013 Rhino 700 SE and got a Dynatek dfs7-26 and hooked it up and my Rhino wouldn't start. I wanted to know if that Dynatek will work with the 2013's and if not then what is the best controller to get. I think I would like a MSD but I can't find one that says it for sure works with the 2013's.

i don't think they make one yet, i bebleive you will need to buy a power commander 5 (PC5) that does basically the same thing as the msd/cdi.....

I bought a new 2012 about 3 months ago, James can fix you up with everything you need to get your rig running like YOU want!! He fixed me up with a Dynatek, Bazzaz fuel controller, cam, and sheave, it's like night and day difference!!!! I run 30" outlaws with plenty of power. Stock I could run 42mph in H, now I run 47mph in L. As soon as James sends me my Throttle Body, I'll be set! I also live in Arkansas, 20 min from Conway.

I just have 26" Big Horn's on 14" Raceline beadlocks. I just do lots of trail riding but I also like the power to be there when I hammer it. So far I have ordered a Warn Pro Vantage 3500lb winch, Gibson exhaust, DG floor protectors and the Dynatek. I will order my sheave tomorrow then don't really planning on doing much else to it for now. I bought the extended warranty so I won't be doing any internal motor work for a while but do plan on a fuel programmer soon, probably the Dynatek module that goes with my cdi.

I took my Rhino in to the dealer today because my winch was in and they put it on for me and I had them check out the Dynatek box too and they hooked it up and it wouldn't start. They did tell me that it showed an error 39 for injector wiring so the cleared that and hooked the Dynatek back up and that same error showed up. Any ideas???? I am even open to a different product to get rid of my rev limiters. Right now I am only able to get 39mph before it starts cutting out and that is getting old in a hurry.

New Dynatek CDI showed up yesterday and works like a charm. Thanks James for assuring me it would work. Can't wait for my sheave to show up so I can get it installed. Now it's time to decide what fuel controller to run, I am leaning toward the Dynatek module for my CDI with the Curve Master software.

I guess it was, it's on its way back to Dynatek now. I was able to get 48mph out of my Rhino today before my daughter told me to slow down because it was too cold.

Ok, found a little straighter flat road this morning and 51mph is all I could get out of it, but I am happy with that. Is it possible I could get 60mph with my jbs sheave in.

Put a cam in it. I just done 59 on dirt road today, and it wasn't downhill. 61-62 downhill. It's funny how these run with a cam. Pulls like hell 0-45, then revs hard and sounds like a completely dif. motor from 50 on up. I put 70 miles on it today. I love this thing!

That is definately in the plans. I have a buddy with a 2012 and he is waiting on me to get my sheave in before he orders one. He is thinking about a big bore instead of a cam on his.

Which cam do you suggest for my 2013, I am shooting for 60+ mph.
