i've been thinking about taking off the dump bed and turning my little fo-fitty into a flatbed with fenders to save weight.
does anybody know how much the bed weighs?
has anybody out there in rhino land been there and done that?
pics would be great.
thanks

If I'm not mistaken the bed itself weights over 80 pds. I have seen people replace it with a aluminum bed and it saves alot of weight and you are able to retain your bed and even make it a bit bigger if you like.

They are all fab'd but a couple places do them search it on goggle and you will see some. James is supposed to be coming out with one soon to.

Looks pretty good do you notice a big difference in heat & noise without the front of the bed being on there.

I have thought about this a million times... dovetailing the rear and just doin to a cooler rack or somthing... i dont use my rhino for work at all

Less weight on the rear will help with hills and maybe prolong axle life
