| well i finally got to taking my machine apart thinking that i stripped the sheeve camplate in my ignorance of doing the wieghted wet clutch. With my luck everything to do with that work was lost in the mail last week so i thought it was going to be a fast switch the clutch parts and whatnot but as it turns out its something more. maybe you guys can help me diagnose what it is. Im thinking maybe the through shaft but i might be worse like the middle drive gears? i could barely give it throttle and it would clunk, not move. In every gear. it happened going up a hill slow in low. Every time i would barely give it throttle it would sound like a stripped gear. Anyway i had the sheeve off and put it in gear so i could spin the secondary and well with a wrench and the brake on i could get it to slip/clunk also.. so what do you guys think it is, through shaft or middle drive gears? its deffinetly in the trans area.. im at a loss what to do next to fix it. i would rather not pull the motor if its the through shaft but obviously if i have to pull the motor thats the next step to get it going again.. Im going through withdrawl.. | |

| I would take it to a good rhino mechanic and let him diagnos it before you tear it all the way down. getting into the trans is not for the hobbiest.

| Hey that looks like front output shaft the bolt laying in the bottom holds the bearing retainer in.mine done that.motor has to come completely apart to repair. Lots of little parts in there and it is not a job for a hobbiest.but if you have a manual and some mechanical knowledge you can do it make sure to locktite all bolts.call James he can send parts . | |
