| Last night we got some snow (about 4") and because we live out in the middle of nowhere they dont normally get by to plow my road very quickly or often. I had spent some time Saturday getting my pow fitted to my Rhino knowing we had some snow coming. Also I figured if I put the plow on there and got ready for snow it wouldnt come...because thats how its normally works is when you are ready you dont need it....but I digress. I decided to get out and plow a bit last night I ended up plowing about 2 miles of the road and my drive, my sisters drive, and my parents drive (they are all pretty long @ about 700ft long). The Rhino plowed like a champ! Plenty of power and traction no complaints at all. Well a couple complaints but nothing against the Rhino its self. The headlights a to low and if you lift the blade at all you loose the beam to the back side of the blade. Also windshield wipers would have been nice. And i dont have any full doors yet...but that will be fixed before next winter. Sorry no pictures guys. I was trying to get done before it got to dark and the wife got to grumpy | |

| "... and the wife got to grumpy" gotta keep momma happy lol what kind of plow do you have and how much did it cost you? when you get a chance take some pictures of your plow set-up. i've been looking but $800 is pretty steep for the amount i would have to plow. | |

| I have a plow I picked up off craigslist for like $100. Made all my own brackets and it hooks to the Rhino with a 2" receiver hitch. I can put it on or take it off in a matter of seconds. Unhook the winch line and pull the hitch pin and back away. Plus the way I made it i can lift the blade up as high as the hood to clear anything i need to. Ill take some pictures tonight if i get a chance...but it works well. When you can plow slush and snow and be bouncing off the stock rev limiter (only until my CDI shows up) its a good thing to know you picked the right machine for the job. | |
