Or just do dual battery's ....mine starts much faster with the dual set up i did.

| I am using a Warn Pro Vantage 3500 on that same Yamaha mounting plate with the 2" receiver. I can't give any reviews on it yet because I haven't had to use it. It looks really nice though | |

| I run a super winch 4500 with synthetic rope and made my own front bumper / winch mount. Got it off Amazon | |

| Like Firefighter, I run a 5000lb Viper Max. It has been the best winch I have ever had. It has pulled some seriously stuck vehicles out of the mud. Rhinos, Rangers; it even pulled two ATVs out of some peanut butter mud simultaneously. When it comes to winches, the bigger the better. I run mine on the factory batter on my Rhino 700. I did upgrade all the wiring to some nice 4AWG wire I had leftover after a stereo install. The big winches pull mega juice at full boogie. My Rhino has never died while winching but it does pull the voltmeter down to around 11V when you pulling real hard. I do not turn off the motor after winching. | |

| I have a 4500 Viper Elite, I haven't have a problem yet. I really like the synthetic cable, but the best thing I have is my tow strap/rope, it's a yanker rope 1/2" X 20' it'll be the best recovery tool you ever get, no more jerking bending frames or bumpers. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000FPXUSO/ref=ya_aw_oh_pit

| I think it is, it's plenty strong, won't unspool when it gets a little slack, won't whip like a cable if it breaks, it's really light, and won't stick you in the hand lol. But I suggest keeping it covered when not in use, I'm sure it can't hurt. | |

| The synthetic cable is wonderful if you use your winch a lot. Especially if you use your winch in wet environments where your hands are wet and tender. The steel cable gets little burs and turns your hands into ground meat! Ouch! The synthetic cable just slides right through your hands and never rusts. | |

| I got it with my winch from Motoalliance. I'll be tearing it down this year for a cleaning and new seals if needed. It gets drownded a lot and I've lost a couple from lack of maintinance :-( | |

| In 08 I put my 3000 viper on my 450. Bought the rzr in 2010 and got the 4000 for it with syn rope and loved it. Let it go with the sale of the rzr. When I traded I kept the 3000 winch and I'm going to put it on the new rhino this weekend with new syn rope. The 3k winch always done everything I needed it to do, so I don't think I need bigger. If things get ugly, I will just snatch block it to get the job done. I figure if it gets the job done, and uses less voltage, why go bigger. Only problem I've had with the vipers is sticking contactor boxes. Hit the switch every now and then, and nothing happens. Tap the box with a wrench and works perfectly. Done a ton of snow plowing with that old 3k winch. It's been so good to me that I didn't want to let it go. I'm going to grease the gearbox before I put it on the 700. All things considered, the viper classic upgraded with syn rope is the best winch for the money anywhere. I've had Superwinches that died, seen Warns die also. They will all break, but both of those Vipers served me well. | |

Have only used it 2 times to pull others out and it did the job... Cant seem to get the dang rhino stuck so i can use it to pull it out..LOL

| I finally got to use my winch yesterday to clear a 24" around tree that fell across one of my trails. I was very happy with the Pro Vantage. It being 3500lbs easily pulled more weight that what my Rhino could hold. | |
