Classic Version vs 'Compact' view on Smart Phone?

I'm using an Android smartphone. When I first found this forum it displayed in a compact view that only showed the forum topics on the screen. I switched to "classic" view to update my profile, and now I cannot find any way to get the original view back!

I am using Firefox, and the classic view looks like a full desktop layout, but turning desktop site on and off in Firefox does not change anything.

doesn't anyone know how to switch this dang forum back to the original compact view?

Try deleting your cookies. Idelete mine every so often and that's when it gives me the other view

Thanx flimmy, I was experimenting at the same time you posted, and you are right. Clearing cookies solved it. Furthermore I have found that I can easily switch views back and forth using the Firefox "request desktop site" option just as long as I never ask for the "classic version" from this forum.

Glad you guys figured it out. I still have a dumb phone. Maybe one of these days I can get one of them fancy computer phones. LOL
