This is a panoramic pic from our top front porch ... James' grandfather built the little barn across the creek 100 years ago. James was born & raised on this property ... all of his uncles live on the hill above the barn. I can't imagine living anywhere else

Looks great James and Nikki; love the pic of the little ole barn that Grandpa's built. Did he ever run a still out of there???

Back decks.

Deer 10 feet off deck. Have deer in yard everyday. Sometimes up to 10. One day had about 30 turkeys in yard.

Fire pit and the Boss. Lol

We love it for sure. We have also had coyote, bobcat, fox in our yard.

like most of you its a slow work in progress. but has come along way in the past 10 years. the house did not have a back yard when we bought it it was all thick woods and i mean thick to the point my quad had a hard time getting around. we dropped 34 trees and cleared it out to what you see. got a excavator and a skid steer and went to town making the levels. every bolder you see i placed 1 by 1 with a skid steer and was found on my property. then we brought in 17 tri axle loads of dirt to level things out. i still need about 8 tri axle loads of clean top soil. once the back yard is done then its time to move to the garage. its 24x24 now i am going to increase it to 34x40 connect it to the house via breeze way with a nice but not huge addition to the house including a wrap around porch from the front door to up the driveway side to the breeze way. its 1.5 acres but we really lucked out because the 200 acres behind us is land locked for another 89 years.

nice job mike, it took us 10 years to build our cabin and there is still work to do, it never ends..lol

I think it's time for to move out of NY. I'm jealous I live in a shoe box compared to you guys
