| ^^That's the best idea. Just make sure you zip tie the wires or put them in a loom and zip tie that up neatly out of the way. | |

| Here is what I done. Pretty redneck and very simple -kinda like me ! First I mounted a speaker box between the bars - took the speakers out and bolted to the roof. Then I carpeted two pieces of plywood and mounted 4in speaker in each. I used self tapping screws to mount to the bars. My amp is mounted above the passenger 4 in speaker with one input wire(dual RCA to single 8th in stereo plug). I then put an iphone holder in the middle on the front bar. The input wire plugs right in too my iphone or any mp3 player with a headphone jack. I use a 200 watt amp. It being under the roof and above the 4in speaker protects it from the elements. Oh yea, all of my electric wire are ran inside the roll bar. I have a switch on the dash that controls it. | |

| That's sweet man lol. I was digging around in the closet and found a old 1200 watt 2 channel amp I used for my 10" sub and planned on using it. I also have a small 150 watt 4 channel I use for my 2 6.5s. Question I have is how can I connect both amps together so I can run highs to small amp and low bass to big amp. I'm not running a cd play just connected to amp to iPod. Anybody know if I can connect the 2 amps or will I have to sell them and get a 4 Channel that will do it all | |

| They make RCA splitters the can hook up between your RCA iPod wire n the amp. You going to have battery issues with that much power on stock battery. I would go with the smaller amp and get some kicker wake board speakers. My bazooka sound good but the kickers really jam on a amp.
If you wanna spend some cash, look up Rockford fosgate low amp draw 300w amp. 4 channel. It don't pull any watts and very small. Not much bigger than an iPhone and about 1-1/2" tall. eBay has them for about $150. Solves all your problems in one shot. | |

| I got an old truck battery I'm gonna run all the speakers and sub too and just charge it up at night when I get back to camp. So I can use the RCA splitters to go to both amps to iPod? | |

| Excessive but effective. Now if you have to upgrade your suspension to accommodate the weight of speakers and amps, you know you're going overboard!! Their choice of tunes...not cool. | |

| Lol. I agree would never do that. I'm actually thinking about selling the amp I got and getting a cheap low watt 4 channel amp I can run everything off of it without it killing my battery | |

| That would probably be the cleanest and easiest setup. I managed to get an old school 5 channel Rockford Fosgate amp that can push 4 -2way 6" overhead speakers and a 8" sub in the back. | |

| If you looking for a good small battery that will last the whole day get a 12 v 32 a/h one for a medi scooter it let's your amp hit hard and is compact like the size of a original. To charge it all u have to do is parallel it off you existing set up on a dpsp switch I have a ten inch sub under driver seat and two sets of 6.5 mid/tweets one set in roof and one in pods by feet amp on roof. I used jl audio because it is all poly and mine have been underwater several times without being hurt ppl have no choice but to listen to what I got playing lol | |
