Front driveshaft

I got just about all the rattles and crap fixed, but the front driveshaft rattles, is this normal. I mean enough to hear it pretty good. Bad u joints, maybe? Got 2500 miles on it. Also please tell me a tip on greasing the zerks in it. I tried the needle and grease just comes right back out. I thought maybe that might tighten it up a little or buy me some time anyway.

Grind a needle flat and try pushing it in the zerk that way. I know it's a PITA but works for me.
Front shaft shouldn't rattle. Take off the shroud inside the cab to inspect the u joint closest to engine. If they are loose , then replace. Not hard with the right tools and know how.

Try tapping around on the outside of the u-joint with a hammer sometimes that will break it up inside and alloy the grease to go in also.

Mine makes a grinding noise up there at about 10 mph, I guess I should figure a way to grease that zerk that's so hard to get to on the drive shaft.

Mine would wiggle n shake alot at the front joint. About 1" back n forth. Pulled it out and found that there is a spring that goes between the motor n shaft on that end that wasn't installed in mine. Put the spring in and stopped the rattle. But, it's very spring loaded to where you may need help putting the diff back in place. Well I did anyways. Hope the helps.

Thanks for the tips. A soft blow hammer and long brass rod helped I think. I picked up a different style needle (wish I kept the package for part number), but it had AC Delco on the box. It was a little thicker and tip was rubber, sealed off perfect on the zerk and bam had grease flowing!! Very little vibration now. I honestly will probably use this thing more than the normal head on my zerks around the garage. Worked great!
