HELP for grinding a weld

very nice ride looks good

took dogs for a ride out to the mudhole back in the woods behind the house solid low end gain but even more impressive mid gain real tight woods so not able to get to top end but very happy for just a little grinding and polishing

Safety glasses at a minimum and face shield is even better. Grinding inside of a hole can get out of control quite quickly and the tool can bounce around in there very violently. There, I feel better now.

Is that speaking from experience? It happens when you turn it on after its in the hole, happened to me a couple times today

Yeah, It has happened to me as well. If the cutter digs in too much, it kicks back and flies over to another place within the hole, where it digs in even more. And.... away it goes. It can get even worse if the cutting tool shaft gets bent, as the whole thing goes out of balance.

Another tool that is even more wicked are those thin high speed cutoff wheels. We had pieces of the cutting wheels stuck into the ceiling 25 feet above the table from when they disintegrate after being pinched in the kerf. Way too high to quickly get rid of the evidence

I had one shatter and almost cut off my forearm, no joke

they can be very dangerous, saw a big 14" base grinder wheel explode was like a grenade chunks of stone everywhere, steves right faceshield saved my modeling career hahaha, be safe , I also did the washer mod on the needle when I did the rais tube
