| This may be a dumb question, but all yall talking about just taking the spark arrestor screen and stock tip and replacing with after market one? I know I do that on my rancher sometimes, no tip replacement, just for a different sound. | |

| i made a bigger 1.75 id and made a small angle rather than a bend the wife said she thinks it is quieter than the stock one i am not shure about that but it has a nice deeper tone and sounds smoother at higher rpms as far as it beening a perfomance enhancer well i was looking for a differnt sound and it didnt cost me anything i might play around and make a few more differnt sizes and angles so if anyone has any ideas they wanna try but dont hace acess to the tools to do it let me know i might be able to help once i get the right meashurments programmed into the cnc i can get more creative i just used the good ol plasma and band saw for this one | |

| I put an Axia tip on mine and like the deeper throat sound throughout. The ID size is 1 13/16" and has a 15 degree angle, if that helps you any. Good luck building something cool and new. | |

| here is a pic on my tip keep in mind this was just a quick slap together deal and the offset angle was cause i have a winch that i can use on the front and rear nut if i leave it on the rear the stock angle tip dumps the exhaust right on the top of the plastic of the winch and yes it will melt it i found out the hard way lol | |

| Something else that might be worth looking into is like the Alba pipe. The tip comes out and goes to the side. I'm guessing to prevent exhaust fumes from sucking in to the cab.
Just a thought ! | |
