| That is pretty cool I have been looking for a app like that. I was wanting to do away with having a iPod and GPS Wich I'm not very good at using the iPhone apps seem clearer and easier to use this way I could combine the iPod for music and GPS all together. | |

GPS mounted in your dash gives you all that info, plus more. LOL! That is a cool app, I would like to have it for when I'm not in the Rhino. Thanks for sharing Shawn. | |

| I had an app like that once but the only problem was is it ran all the time. It would suck the life out of your battery on your phone. Later I figured out you could turn the app off to save your battery. Never installed it again. Went and bought off road garmin | |

| I have a Garmin Etrex 20 that has good reception in the forest and excellent battery life. Garmin even claims good reception under tree canopies. I use it for Geocaching, you can load maps and all the cache info into it from a computer. It also gives you a lot of cool info like the above mentioned app. | |

| Lol on the goecashing. I live close to a military base and found one of those sticking out the side of a hill inside a waterproof ammo box tied to a wire, i guess to keep it in place. We were drinking quite abit and i thought it was a bomb. Took us nearly an hour to get the courage to open it. Stupid mushrooms never helped | |

| I use Every Trail on my Droid. It keeps up with info like speed and elevation as you go and uploads it to their webpage when you finish riding and overlays it on Google Earth. | |
