| What does it feel like when it's slipping, is it not getting going at light throttle low rpm? | |

| I didnt notice a problem on bottom end. My top speed is 35 mph and it would sound like the valves starting to float. Found out from a vid in a post on here Thats the rev limiter. | |

| I have a pretty heavy rhino in my mind and I like to haul 5 adults on occasion when I am hunting or family just crusing around and I could tell a difference after I install my JBS sheave that I no longer seemed to need to put it in low like I used to and then after I slugged it in conjunction with the JBS sheave holy cow I felt instant movement even when loaded down with 5-6 people and no loss of power where as before it felt like I needed to be in low and still felt like I was slipping it a little or struggling to get moving without have to give it half the pedal.
Slug kits are worth thier weight in brass or lead for sure!! | |

| I'm not so sure now that this is or was my problem. The wet clutch looks ok to me. The drum looks fine also. No grooves, coundn't catch a fingernail anywhere I tried, Any other opinions? The problem was hitting rev limiter at 35 mph. Checked on gps, 35 mph was correct. OD weights installed correct, belt riding about 1/8 in high in secondary when I took apart tonight. Gonna put the new stuff in it when it gets here anyway, but not sure its going to fix problem. No motor mods other than Hotrod sheave. I do run 27" tires though, would that cause the high rpm at such a low speed? | |

| I wouldn't think hitting the Rev limiter would have anything to do with wet clutch but I could be wrong. Do you have a CDI box of some kind to raise your Rev Limit from 6,000rpm to 8,000rpm? Has it always just hit top speed of 35mph or where you doing 50's before and now all of a sudden your best is 35mph? | |

| I run 27's on my 660 I run 45-47 on GPS I have a DYNATEK CDI box so I have never hit the rev limiter, waiting on my hot rod sheave to arrive as week as the slug kit for the wet clutch. I have 2100 miles on my 660, so far no problems, I am curious to look at my wet clutch tho. Hopefully it's all good, nothing is leading me to believe its bad. My buddy hits his rev limiter in his 09 700 at about 43. Started happening after he put in a "not going to mention" clutch kit. I'm trying to talk him into the JBS. | |

| Yeah a sheave changes your gearing and will effect your rpm's and the weights you put in them are pretty important and James is the expert on that. | |

| If you have a faulty wet clutch it's usually felt down low, your motor will turn more rpm's to get the wet clutch to bite the side of the drum and eventually get the primary moving in turn turning the crank and setting the bike in motion, with higher revs the wet clutch usually still bites good giving you the top end but a loss on the bottom end. | |

| This pic is of the primary clutch installed. to determine if your od weights are in correctly look at holes in the camplate. If it looks to be even at all 4 holes the weights should be ok. | |

| Put the rest of it together and drove it. Wow, what a big improvement on take off. Power is there, no lag. Plus I think its smoother clutch engagement. This is another awesome upgrade from James. Thank you very much James and Nikki for sharing your knowledge with me and everybody. | |
