| I just received my stage 2 700 rhino cam and power commander V controller from James for my 2012 rhino. Anyone have any good tips or a link to a good installation thread? Also, I didn't order the cam chain adjuster gasket, so I don't have it. Do you all think this will be needed for the install? Do I have to completely remove the chain adjuster? Thanks for the help and advice! | |

| sweet...nikki is on it!!...mark the cam sprocket and chain with a silver marker so it will be easy to go back...just check it after you put it on to make sure...just a way to speed it up...still have to look at the marks | |

| Ok, a little worried, just to make sure the cam I received is a raptor stage 1 cam, but for a 2006-2008 raptor 700. I know the raptor stage 1 is a rhino stage 2, but at the hotcams website, they have a different part number for the 2009-2013 raptor 700. I want to confirm there is no difference in the cam since I'm putting it in a 2012 rhino! Thanks! | |

| Ok, one last question, before with my jbs sheave, 18 gr. weights and gold spring (running 26'' itp mayhem mud tires) I could do 48 mph. Got the cam installed, defeinitly more power, but hit rev. limiter at 50 mph. I thought I should hit close to 58 or so, is it the weights slowing me down, or is the rev limiter not set right? Thanks for any help. | |

| Even though I can hit 48 without cam? Not second guessing just asking. Can they flop though I haven't been In there since the sheave install? Thanks for the quick response. | |

| You will have to adjust the valve lash (losen it up) to remove the cam. Once the new cam is installed, set the valve lash (the hot cam will come with the exact specification which is within the OEM spec). The one tip I would have is use a silver sharpie and mark in a couple locations the timing chain to the timing gear. This will make reinstallation a breeze. Let me know if there are any other questions. | |

| Be careful not to drop the deconpresion pin to. It is easy to do when you are pulling it out. | |
