| I work for Carlisle (who owns ITP) and i get an extremely good deal on wheels and tires. I like the look of the Terracross RT because it reminds me alot of the Bighorn. I just dont know in general if it (or the Bighorn for that matter) is the tire for me. I dont really do much mud riding. There is SOME mud but i dont go looking for it and when i do get into mud its not much more than about 6" deep. Most of my riding is dirt trails and some rock and some roads. I think the Terracross would be what would work best for me but i was just wanting to know if anyone had any experience with them? They are radials so that is good and the weight rating is plenty high. I was wanting to go up to a 26" tire and i would get some wheels also. So an additional question would be what off set wheels would i need and widths? Thanks in advance guys and here is a link to the tires im looking at http://itptires.com/utilityatv/terracross.html | |

| I had terra cross xd. 26in 14in beedlock wheels. The rears had a massive offset. I think about 3 1/2 inch. It rode and handled awesome but.... I ate through bearings and bushings like it was my job. We ride extreme stuff in ky but I was getting about 400 miles out of wheels bearing. Terra cross xd was an great tire all around. Descent in mud . Just wouldn't clean out very good. I do trails and hills and rocks. Took those off an put stock special edition wheels back on. Threw on a set of 26 in bighorns and wow what a difference. Lighter digs better. I love the bighorn for my style of riding. So basically you won't go wrong with terra cross . Just like the bighorn better. Oh yeah make sure they are the xd terra cross. 8 ply sidewall | |

In the rear use a rim with a 5+2 backspacing. It'll be about stock. With no spacers. In the front use a 4+3 backspacing, about stock. Both are depending on tire specs, but it'll be close. The problem will be finding the same rim in both backspacing sizes.

| I am running 26" Terracross on 14" ITP SS212s, I like them and have had good luck with them, run more on hard pack than mud. They are a bit heavy and seem pretty good in snow, though I put on my tracks once the snow piles up.

Thats the exact setup i was looking at....Do you have any pictures of yours with the wheels and tires on? What offset are you running?

Chuddly; 6" of mud isn't mud, it's a wet spot that's on the sheets, after a little bit of entertainment!!!

| I run the terra cross and love them. I have never had a flat on them and have quite a few miles on them. Air them down for the snow and they do awesome. | |

| If the deal was right, I would try them. I've heard they go really well other than real deep mud. Also heard of sidewall problems, but it sounds like they have made an effort to fix that. I bought Bighorns again mainly because of the mileage I can get out of them, and how they hold up. | |

Yeah the tracks are slick especially in the deep snow, the Rhino is virtually unstoppable lots of floatation great for towing ice fishing shacks and getting to remote areas. The rhino is not very sporty with them on they are heavy. I think with the new sheave kit it will turn the tracks much better.

Get em. We want pictures. 70% off is a no-brainer on a good tire. From what others have said, they are good.
