| I know this has been a popular subject . Ok here is what i have . While doing some cleaning i noticed i had a wore spot in my drivers side rad hose. So i changed it. Ever since then rhino gets hot and spits out overflow hose. I did NOT bleed the system . I just added water & anti freeze back to rad. I am thinking i just need to bleed it but not positive that is what is wrong. | |

| Yes, bleed the system!
It helps if you fill out your profile so we know what model you have.
The 660 has 2 bleeder screws, one one the head and the other on the water pump.

| You can jack it up if you want, start it and crack upper screw until you get a steady flow of coolant.
Where was your worn spot on the hose? Where.the engine cover hits it? If so, trim the inner lip on the cover. I've seen a lot of the hoses rub in that area. Yamaha did add a sleeve on the hose but it still hits there.

| ok so i should fill up rad engine cold & not running , open bleeder on top of water pump housing ? The hose actually had a wors spot from the front driveshaft . It looks like there was a holder that wasnt fastened or the hose had worked loose from it. | |

- give this stuff a try. i swear by it. i have been running it sense 04 i had a grizzly that was overheating dealership told me to put it in my grizzly w/ 28" tires never overheated after the swap. sense then i have put it in everything i have.
http://www.liquidperformance.com/motorcycle/performance/racing-coolant-antifreeze/ This stuff and Engine Ice both work great but are both expensive and a pain in the ass to run. You can't mix it with water so you're forced to carry a jug with you at all times...and where I live you can't buy it anywhere. I ran it last season but flushed it this year because of this.

| my fan stopped working so I replaced it with a new fan with a shroud. never bleed or burped it. and never overheats now. when I got the new fan it ran backwards blowing out the front. Had to cut wires and reverse them. it was strange. maybe the put the connector on backward at the factory | |
