| A moose kit is just a dynojet kit. I would recommend going back to the stock needle. That needle sucks.
Stock needle with all shims and washers below the clip.

| ok finished 1st cold one got 2nd an been pondering this shit , first I think I need to make sure slide is working right, because if its not this would cause being rich second, I think I will set up with open air box then see what snorkel does to it will try to get 3in for snorkel before it goes back on | |

| Cold ones help... By removing the aibox lid you have now taken away the vacuum that lifts the slide. It will no longer be able to lift correctly and can drastically effect air fuel. Remember that you can only flow as much air as your greatest restriction.

| Jeff, Sorry I didnt have time to take a pic of the 3" snorkel, putting out fires all day. Nate is right you need the air box lid for proper vacum for the slide to work. That's why on the 720 you really have to run 3" snorkel.

| you to need to state rich also so put the needle high like 2 size bigger pilot and main and should be running rich all the way through then. that way u have a starting point because your a/f reading are all over the board. | |

| with the air box lid on an no snorkel is very rich in middle an will lean out on the top , I think the slide is the main deal believe its slow on opening making rich in middle an when w.o.t. it opens an it goes lean . I went down to 160 main trying to help the rich right before w.o.t. an in turn made the top lean out , going to try to get smaller pilot jet sizes an a 162.5 main , I 've already drilled the slide to 1/8 on both holes , slide has some scratches /wear marks on side may see about new slide to see difference | |

| The slide not opening quick enough will make it lean. Lowe your needle. One shim | |

| thanks Mike been trying every thing with this , Jason when it leans out it is w.o.t. which should have the needle all the way out of jet an in turn if I raise the needle it would make the middle-upper more rich before w.o.t. I think this is right , but I agree that there's something up with slide . Trying to locate more jets now | |
