How much does temperature effect tuning on a carb? Pretty chill here today(25*) and my a/f reading are off from last weekend(50*) before it got cold again. Like a Star @ heaven

the colder the temp requires a richer mix , warmer leaner

more air = more fuel

did you get your turbulator yet, or are you still packed in with the snow?

Yep, got the turb tonight, and yep the snow is deep and wet. The ground is warm so it is shrinking and should have open streets by mid-weekend for the final carb tuning with the turbulator installed. Like a Star @ heaven

in my haste (and a few too many spirits) i forgot that the intake tract on the rhino is different. sorry. if it will fit inside the part below called joint 1 part no. 1 (?!) that would be a better place. i don't think the tract will seal correctly if you place it in the rubber boot, and that would be an even bigger problem.
if the diameter of the ring is smaller than the inside diameter of joint 1, measure the inside diameter of the joint and that should be the correct size. i don't know why they would make the i.d. of the intake tract (joint 1) larger than the throat of the carburetor.
if it doesn't fit, mail it to me and i'll give it to my grandson as a birth control device lol.

Denny, The part #1 diameter size is larger than the flange on the turb, so there is no butting the flange up to the #1 port hole. The turb would just fall into the head. I'm going to call Dennis Kirk today and see if they have one that will fit the Rhino. Like the idea for the G-Kid, never know might be the next best greatest thing to hit the streets. lol....

Got the 36-38mm coming as soon as they receive the 30-34mm. Very excellent customer service at Dennis Kirk. They'll cover shipping cost for the replacement piece. This should give me time to get use to the feel of the other mods before implementing the turbulator. Laughing
