Ok so I don't understand the hole wheel offset thang and I am looking for someone to explain it to me. I have been looking at knew wheels and tires and I'm pretty sure I am going to go with 26x9 all the way around and was looking for the best wheel offset for this set up I've seen the 2/5 & the 5/2 and the 4/3 but don't know wich would be best or do I understand what it means to be truthful about it I guess I have a Idea but would like some help from you guys before I make a purchase also keep in mind I would like to go with a mid-travel when the money is rite. Thanks for the help.

I know the feeling I will probably need knew tires again before I can afford the mid-travel just trying to not have to buy something twice. When I bought my rhino 3 years ago it came with 14 inch rims and they are beat all to hell and the tires I have on there now won't make to this fall so I was just trying to keep from buying a nother set of 14' tires to go on them if I don't it will end up in never ending circle of me buying 14's so I was just trying to get off that path & look in the future a little I guess.

Here is an article that explains the offset
http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/tech/techpage.jsp?techid=101

Most important is that the tires clear, after that there is a lot of personal preference.

Im curious to see how much more body roll you get with 26/12's versus the 26/14.

I guess that's a possibility also but the tires I am looking at are supposed be small to size so truly a 25 and hopefully a little stiffer sidewall will help.

my first step would be to pick out my +3 kit and call the maker and see what off set they would run with their kit. I know some kits wont run a stock rim, so might as well get the whole set up matched as well as possible. oh and makes sure you get some carpet to put her on cus after all the money you spend, she deserves a nice home..lol

lol...if you don't have $30k in your rhino you might as well just get rid of it and get a golf cart.

My wheels are ITP 7 inch wide by 12 inch diameter I believe. The width is is measured on the inside of the rim without the tire mounted. It spans from the part of the rim where the bead connects the rim on both sides. It's hard to measure with a tire mounted to a rim, but I tried anyway. I believe my rims are offset 5+2; 5 inches from center of wheel hub to where tire bead hits rim (towards engine part of machine) and 2 inches from center of wheel hub to where tire bead hits rim (towards trail side of machine) . So you can see that the 5 + 2 add up to the total width of the rim. This probably doesn't help you with your decision, but it's the best I can do.
