| Would not be a bad idea to pull the secondary while you have the cover off and clean and regrease the pins. You could do the washer mod while you're in there. | |

| I will look close when I tear it down, you may be right. I know for sure one isn't because I used it to seperate it when I put thr anti friction washers on, not sure about the other. could that be why im not getting top end too? | |

| Sure looks like a broken bolt in the secondary. As long as the belt surface looks good I would try and drill it and use an extractor to remove it. | |

| if there is one broke off its in deeper than flush, because I can fully put a bolt in one hole to seperate the sheave to pull the belt the other hole starts but doesnt go in but half a turn.. maybe there is something in there.. should have looked at it better.. | |

| so when I pulled my secondary with the belt still on.. when I removed the belt it closed all the way. could my secondary spring be weak and not able to close all the way and make it put the belt where it needs to be fit proper gearing...? | |

| I guess the cam could be retarded 1 tooth, then it would not have much top end,and it would be very sluggish from the getgo. | |
