| Is the nut off and you're trying to get the sheave off the shaft? Or are you trying to get the nut broke loose? | |

| The nut was off, I was trying to get the sheave off the shaft, got that off now, who's bright idea was it to put that brace there. Now I'm trying to get the nut to break free from the wet clutch, got the drum housing off just need to get the 1" nut off now to pull the wet clutch. It's one thing after another I tell ya. | |

I had the same problem with mine and ended up cutting that section out and welding some 1'' flat steel tabs to the section that I cut out and drilled 3/8'' holes so I could bolt it back in,now I just take 2 bolts out and waalaa the secondary comes right out without cussing!! | |

| Mike that is a pretty good idea, might get out the welder and fab something up. I don't know who the genius was to weld a bar there that can't be removed for easy servicing of the clutch but he should be fired. | |
