| Well, I got my eyes on one today.... and im very impressed....
The pictures do it no justice... It looks like a grizzly that got big... Nice styling, lots of leg room for all riders, even the middle guy, seat felt good, doors are much much much better, bed is huge, switches are easy to work, all in all, looks like they did there homework for sure... Ill admit when im wrong and I am...
Im not going buy one, but it has some very very nice potential..... The one we saw had a set of 28" swamp lites on it.. Looked really good and I don't see an issue of rubbing at all with out the lift
Prices are very low for the base model, and 13 grand for the power steering one... Id say if you want a bigger one, I think you will satisfied with it.... Ill give it 1-1/2 thumbs up lol

| I rode in one last week at the bike shop. It was very nice and now they added different wheels and it looks even better. | |

| I seen one today at the dealer setting in the grass beside a new rhino. It did look really good in person. The one thing that turns me off, (and it's a big one) is the width of it. Looking at the two setting side by side the viking made the rhino look like a youth model. I'm not saying it won't get through the woods good, I'm just saying it won't get through the woods as quick as a rhino. It looks very wide. On paper, it's not that wide. Just seems to me if you were hauling ass through the woods, you would have a whole lot of machine to the right side of you as a driver. It may not be near as bad as I think, but it just seems like it would be like driving a small pickup through the woods.
As far as the competition which is the ranger, I think this thing looks like it will be way better in almost every way. If I was gonna haul 2 passengers with me most of the time, I would want to be doing it in one of these or in a teryx 4.
I'm going to stop in there and take a good look in the afternoon on my way to work. I need to set in it, and really check it out.

| They may be ok......but that extra width just DOES NOT work for me. My fenders i have now are scraped up and all from the tight trails we have around here. | |

| with the ability to hold a full skid, i could probably justify the use of one in my business and take the "write-off," but the new viking just doesn't do anything for me. i am glad they are expanding the platform and re-defining the class, but like a lot of people, i was hoping it would be more performance-minded. i guess they are still reeling from all the rollover lawsuits and are going to slowly get into the performance category. with all the resources (read motorcycle engines) they have, it shouldn't take them long to take the lead once they get there, but i can totally understand their conservative approach. | |

| I rode and drove one a couple weeks ago and it was smooth and steered easy for a non power steering model. I put the first two miles on it and even got to get on it some and it had some nice torque off idle and even when running down the road but it is big it felt weird to look over at my passenger and not be elbow to elbow with them and I didnt like the gap between the bed and seats where you could see and hear the motor. I imagine on a good dusty day you would get lost in the dust tornado going on in the cab. I also wasnt impressed with the vibration everything had on idle just sitting even though it goes away once you touch the gas pedal I imagine a fresh opened beer on the dash wouldnt stay full long if you were sitting there idling after you opened it. | |

| I stopped and looked at it. Rhino was setting behind it, so I couldn't get a good picture for comparison. Looked like the rhino bed would just about fit inside the Viking. Looks like the cage is around 1" wider than the rhino, and it just looks huge. Setting in it is very pickup truck like. I would hate it in the woods for sure. The rhino looks like a youth model setting there near it. It is a very nice built machine, and looks so much better in person than on the computer. Just to big. | |

My thoughts exactly...the one I looked at was camo and had aftermarket wheels and bighorns installed...it definitely looked nice but man was it wide...I would hate to navigate a tight trial with the Viking...

| Navigating the trails are easy. You just might have to actually slow down a bit to get thru some spots. Or just bounce yourself off trees with the cage like I do lol | |
