| my rhino with JBS sheave &orange spring will only top out at 45 MPH..talked to James and checked a few things and it looks like my carb slide isn,t opening up all the way ..so no top end..searched on here & you tube but didn,t find anything for the 660..so need help,lol..Danny | |

| not sure if they can be adjusted as its a vacuum slide have u pulled it out an cleaned it and the carb where it slides. I know they will get dirty an stick I clean mine with some wd-40 an wipe it down good. | |

| have you check the throttle cable adjustment may not let you open the butterfly wide open if its not adjusted correct | |

good point, ive heard the throttle cables stretch over time on the rhinos not sure if its true but worth a look | |

| .will check that out on the throttle cable stretching..will try to find a break down of the carburetor assembly and clean it up or replace the vacum diaphragm..it never has really been fast..but when I first got it had it rejeted for running in the mtns and just has allways been a dog..again thanks guys for all the suggestions..Danny | |

| have you looked at the plug see what color it is , better than that get /borrow a a/f gauge make sure the jetting is correct , if its always been a dog may have been set-up wrong back then | |

| well checked a few more things..throttle cable opens carb butter- fly all the way open..valve lash good..other than the top speed runs much better..any more suggestions ? Danny | |
