Wow.Nickie just mailed my sheave Monday and got it today in Okla. thought I would put it in tomorrow, but couldn't wait. Took about two hours. Just had time for about 1/4 mile tryout. Power seems much better and hit 49 mph. Didn't do anything to the primary, everything was clean and looked good. Is that about what to expect?

The best way to put the power to the road, add a CDI.

Think Larry might of answered a question I had without asking. I could't figure out what a couple of nylon washers were. Could they be anti friction washers? And does a 700 FI need them or a different primary spring?

Got a miss at top end, had same before new sheave. Just bought machine last month with 250 hrs on it. Havn't changed plug or done anything but the new sheave. Is the cdi worth the couple hundred bucks.

If You want to go faster than 50 mph....Yes When I first got in to SXS"s I would say faster is better. Now I lean towards comfort features. But Yes, I have an aftermarket CDI on mine...HAHA

The JBS sheave does a great job of increasing your speed, putting power the ground and the performance and feel of the machine, to get rid of the rev limiter in forward and reverse the CDI allowing you to do a lot of work depending on the brand and model with maps and tunes. That way will get most out of your set up and as you change stuff you can adjust to make sure your always at your best.

Carl, one of the best things I got for mine was the Ryde-on dust cover from JBS. It fits between seats and bed and prevents a LOT of dust from coming uo through there. It kills a lot of noise too.

Thanks for the info guys. I went a little further than the dust cover. On the under side of the engine cover I put more insulation in. I used the stuff from under side of car hood and spray adhesive and you can carry on a conversation now. Wife likes that, she can tell me how to drive. Lol.

New to this forum stuff, I answered about where I ride, but it must of went to outer space.lol. We love Silverton Co. Went there last month with Daughter and son in law on their 4 seat rzr. We hooked up with 6 Rhinos and fell in love with it. Found this on here in Ok. Been adding goodies ever since. Around here we live on an airport so I ride everyday around here.
