| Wast sure where to post this.
Yesterday while changing some hunting equipment around I idled my Rhino while working.
After about 30 minutes of idleing (trying to burn some fuel off for winterization), it stalled. Temp indicator good. Thought out of fuel. Checked fuel all is good 1/2. Started right back up and idled again for about 30 minutes and stalled.
Is there some type of fail safe built in to 05 Rhinos?
I have never idled it that long before so just wondering. Idle is fine, oil fine, temp fine. I have an altinator and battery voltage is 13.7.
Just wondering.
Thanks

| how old is the fuel? mine used to stall when i first bought it i've been making sure it's fresh, especially in the late fall when it will sit a lot more. too much freakin ethanol in fuel these days. (all the volatility evaps away) | |

(all the volatility evaps away) Fuel is only about 1 month. Fresh fuel just before axle popped out. I also use SeaFoam in my fuel and have never had a problem but as I mention never idled that long. | Seems like somebody explained that on here before. At an idle, the intake is not supplying enough vacuum to operate the fuel pump.
Always meant to ask some of the guys that run electric fuel pumps if theirs dies after idling for a while | |
