| Wishing I had one right now anyway, we got about 6 inches of snow last night. It started yesterday afternoon so we decided to take the Rhino out for our first snow ride. The roads were a sheet of ice but the trails were fun. Might have to go out again today. | |

| I turned the mounting bracket backwards from t how they tell you to put it on and it lets the plow raise much higher prb around 2' or so. | |

- Get the longer push tubes not that crap that mounts right up front. My Dad had that setup once and it just makes the plow dig in and the machine try to run over it instead of pushing the snow. We hated it. I got a 60" cycle country plow and love it. A little wider would be better, but it is just even with my tires when tilted to one side.
to each is own. I never had a problem with mine digging. I wanted the setup I got over the one with the push tubes. its a lot eaiser to hook up and it lifts a lot higher. the extra lift height helps make larger piles of snow and it makse it easy to load on and off a trailer without removing the plow from the rhino plus I needed it to lift really high because I have a steep ramp going into my shed.

I don't know, but I'm fixin to find out this winter. 1st year with syn rope. I got that wear guard thing on the 1st 4ft or so, so I hope that is enough to save it. I think it really depends on how much you use it. We will see. If it doesn't hold up, I will go back to cable as much as that would suck.

If it doesn't hold up, I will go back to cable as much as that would suck. why chance it. simple fix. leave your syn line on and remove your hook. get an old wrachet strap you only need the long end not the wrachet itself. loop the strap thru your syn line about 12" no need to tie it and wind it up covering your syn line. and use just hook the other end to the plow. works great just make sure its a strap rated for 1000lbs or more. I snapped a strap rated for 500lbs.

| thank guys. ive been using that setup for 2 years without a problem. the thin flat profile fit my warn drum fine over top of my cable . so no need to remove you line or cable. I did forget to mention I swapped out the hook for a threated link extender. | |
