Did you ride it yet? Why did you not just mill out the webbing on your old one, to many miles?

Why the orange? What's the difference in it and the others, like the gold?

I just took my sliders off my camplate and slid them down in the sheave where they would sit, then marked it with a sharpie, then i put an endmill bit in my drill press and took around 40,000ths of matterial out...done!! worked great!!

Just make sure the splines line up so you don't strip'em and hold the camp, lte tight so the weights don't flip over. Videos help the best. Good Luck you should be fine!

Got it all sowed up and took it around the block a couple time tonight. Didn't hammer on it yet cause my neighbors have guns !!!
I really wished I could explain all about this new improved sheave but it is really over my head. Here are a couple things I have found with it.
First, You can see in this pic that the sliders have been riding on the fins of the sheave, not the weights like they should have been
After seeing this, I put the cam plate back in and picked up sheave and shook it. Just as I thought, you could here the weights rattle. Took camplate out cleaned everything up and installed in new sheave - shook it - no rattle - camplate is now setting on the weights !
James has made this to where it will allow for wear and still perform for years to come. Wish I could explain all of this but would take a month of Sundays to write it all down.
More to come. hopefully get a good long ride in this weekend.

You explained it pretty good. So what I get out of it is that there is a millimeter or so gap between the cam plate and the weights but when you mill it out of the webbing it will be flush. Can this be fixed by just buying a 660 cam plate? Whats better about the 700 cam plate compared to the 660's? Thanks!

Thats a good question ! Seems like was matter of if You had a 660 cam plate, there was some clips You had to get to use greasless sliders or just get a 700 plate which was suppose to be better. How I don't know .

The 700 cam plate is alot stronger than the 660,if you look at where the sliders go on the cam plate on both of them you will see,the 700 is alot beefier in that area.i know of 2 people that had the 660 plates wear the sliders and that alowed the plate to twist and bust out the dividers that are between the weights, ruined the sheaves!...get the 700 cam plate for sure!
