| Well guys to revisit this post and i have some new info to share with you... to recap i was having an issue with the motor being hard to start and boggin pretty bad at off idle rpm when you mash the throttle.. Well, after a few rides and holes later shes still going strong with the same issues... I grit my teeth everytime shes spins over for a bit but i know shes going to start.. Anyways, i recently snorkled my buddies rhino with the recomended size tubing that we figured you need.. Dual 2" piping going into the air box... My buddy has a raptor stock cam, msd 2d with no clutch work... We race on asphalt and are side by side and he leaves very much harder than i do pre snorkling... Backed them out and lined them up with stock tires this time and i mashed the gas and smoked him.... Then after racing a few passes he went to start his and it spun over n over and then popped off.... Now, what does this mean????? The Snorkles are not in tune with the MSD.. Which makes more since cause of all the issues we are having... We made a few passes and we could see a huge difference between our two rhinos.. So, now the problem is how do i get my rhino to perform properly with the snorkles?? Answer is i have an appt set up with my Dyno guy in a month and we are going to find out exactly whats up with my little red monster So, for all you guys that wanna run snorkles on an EFI or Carb motor, remember the length of tubing will effect the way the motor runs for sure... You will have to Dyno Tune | |
