Madmax, next time you have Your off, will You measure the adapter on the filter end and tell me what size it is? I may see if I can put a K&N on this adapter.

Yep, Mine has the UNI filter on it it, but in the future I may put a K&N on it if I can find a filter to fit this adapter. If You could tell me the outside diameter of the filter end of Your adapter, If they are the same, I could use the same K&N filter You use on mine. Or If You could tell me Your filter #, I could look it up and see if it would fit my adapter.

I'm running the Dragonfire Billet tip. It does help!
Have you heard about grinding the welds on the header pipe flanges? It also helps on the low end. Steve, I just pulled my header off and it is insane how big the welds are on it !!! Thanks Again !!

| don't mean to piss in your cheerios, guys, but they might be designed that way. that lip may help stop reversion (an exhaust pulse that goes back to the engine). i don't pretend to be an expert, by any means, but sometimes engine porters will weld up the chambers in a "d" ring to stop reversion. just sayin' | |

| HAHA Too late now, I've already started grinding.
Very good point though.
I did read a very good thread on the RF sometime back on this mod though and most had very good results. I'll keep You posted.

No problem! Becareful not to make it to thin, the weld is what holds the flange to the pipe. I ground mine so it is flush, no problems for 6 years. I noticed a difference in the low end.
