| Have a seller that says he has a 06/700. I'm thinking the bike was made in 2006 but sold in 2007. Didn't Yamaha sell some 700's in 2007? I've seen the bike and the stock cage is the newer version than the early 06 model cage that's on my bike. | |

| It's a fuel injected motor, it also came with a factory AM/FM radio. | |

| I'm just bouncing the idea round. Sounds like this 700 would be a 2008. It would be a project bike if I went with this bike. | |

| If its a 2008 it have EFI, doors, a automotive style hand brake, larger CV's,686 engine, and grab handle on the passenger seat. (maybe a mule, tester)

| A mule is last years model with next years engine in it,built to be beaten into the ground then chopped up. Usually not available to the public, but sometimes engineers bring them home.Probably not. | |

| 2008 was a split year. Made 660 and 700 efi. He may be saying its a 700 big bore or 686 like a 700. I can't see exactly but there's no vent on the center console. If the air box is under the hood, it's a 700 efi. If not its a 660 so might wanna ask more questions of its carb or not. Or pull the center console n look. | |

| Thanks guys for all the input. I'll have to go look at the machine again, it's been a couple month since I first looked at it. | |

| The radiator overflow reservoir is a tell-tale that the Rhino in question is a 700FI model. Also, the oil cooler is mounted differently and is a different design. These in addition to the non-vented engine cover. If it has rear disc brakes at each wheel, a square rear frame brace (vs the round brace on the 660), and a grab bar on the passenger cage a-pillar are visual kinds of clues to me. My money says it's a 700FI | |

| I'm just playing around with the idea on this second bike; need to find out what it is for sure, it's apparent the owner doesn't know what he has. The Bitchin Trail will stay in the stable, I've got to have something dependable for the trips I've got planned for this summer. I've looked the 450 over pretty good this winter, just need to tune in the carb. | |
