Screw size on Mikuni 33 carb float bowl

I want to replace the screws that hold the float bowl on a Mikuni 33 carb. I've seen two sizes called out. 4mmX10mm or 4mmX12mm. Anyone know for sure which size is right? Thanks

Hold on here.... Screws are measured by the diameter of the thread. 14 mm is a huge bolt! Probably bigger than anything found anywhere on a Rhino. Try maybe 4 mm diameter?

I checked the jetting kit that I carry in the Rhino. I used M4 x 10 long Socket Head Cap screws.

Yes Steve you are right, it is a 4mmX10mm. Guess you could use the 14's for an anchor or something. Think if been sniffing to many gas fumes today. Made an edit. Way to be lookin out!

The Hex Head on the bolts are the same size as the Hex Heads on the intake joints for the air box and manifold. Was in the bowl 4X today was damn glad I got the bolts before starting this tuning project.

Be a bit careful with describing the size of a screw by the size of the head. The thread is what matters when screwing into the threaded hole. The head size can vary depending in the head style. There are hex heads, hex drive socket heads, pan heads, truss heads, etc., etc. Even the hex heads vary among themselves, with heavy and light head classifications (there is even a very small hex classification for tight spaces such as header manifold bolts). The choice here is driven by the wrench clearances in the particular application. I know that this is a bit esotheric, but just saying.

The important thing is that you got it together and replaced the junk screws that Mikuni uses!
